Boys Win 4th Consecutive Sectional Championship, Girls Runner-Up
The CV Boys Cross Country team won their 4th consecutive Sectional Championship on Wednesday morning and the CV Girls team were Sectional Runner-Up! Kenny Edwards ran to a swift individual victory and earned the title of Sectional Champion! The CV Boys placed four athletes in the top six and was carried to victory by senior Lucas Padilla who rounded out the scoring-five with a personal best time of 17:39 on the hilly 3.2-mile course. The girls team put two runners in the top-10: sophomore Kaitlyn Bowe, who finished 8th, and freshman Sara Eltiste who finished 10th.
