Boys Win Sectional Championship, Girls Runner-Up
Friday morning, October 27th, the Campo XC boys and girls teams competed at their Division 2 Sectional championship at Crossroads Park. The boys finished with five runners in the top nine, and all seven in the top 24, a definitive victory with just 22 points. For the boys' team, this victory marks their third consecutive win. The girls team finished runner-up with three in the top 25, personal records for two CV ladies (Brady Riggs in 22:54 and Taytum Coons in 23:47), and senior Alaina Kautz who took the individual runner-up medal. Both teams close their official season Saturday morning at the State Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix.
