For the past ten years, Coach Applebach has coached Gilbert's youth athletes in the sports of cross country and track with great enthusiasm for kids and the sport he loves. As an athlete himself, he has passionately grown the cross country and track programs into "powerhouse" teams that have never missed a state championship appearance. He has raised up championship teams and individuals at the sectional and state level and a Gatorade AZ athlete of the year. Coach Applebach has recently completed his masters degree in human movement science--sports conditioning from the prestigious A.T. Still University, and holds USATF coaches certification.
