Bio: I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona and was raised in Chandler/Mesa, Arizona up until 2013 when I moved to Gilbert. I want to be a vet technician after I graduate. When I'm not running, you'll probably catch me riding horses, working with animals at EVIT, watching a movie, spending time with my family, reading a good book, or listening to music. My family consists of my dad, mom, my younger brother and sister, my chihuahua, and my overweight cat. My dad is from England which makes me half English, so my family and I travel to England a lot in the summer to visit my family!
Some things you may not know about me are that I love Marvel and Star Wars movies, and I love to paint!
My goal for this season is to break 21 minutes and eat healthier. I also hope to form a closer bond with the team and make new friends!
Class of 2020
Why I Run: My desire to run started when I watched the 2012 London Olympics. I always thought the sprinters and distance runners were awesome and I wanted to be just like them! I did a running club in 6th grade and officially joined an actual team in 7th grade at South Valley and I've been running ever since. I look forward to the competition at the races and the feeling of racing in a 5k again!
Favorite Memory with the Team: My favorite memory would have to be the 2017 Woodbridge meet. The whole girls team became very close during that trip and we were all so excited after getting PRs!
Accomplishments & Awards: I got the Most Valuable freshman award in 2016.
I got medals for top 20 at the 2017 Titan Invite, 5th place for both 2016 and 2017 at Gilbert City Championships meet, and top 100 at the Woodbridge invite
